Before Ignazio could answer Simeon's question, the hustle and bustle of the suddenly lively inn interrupted their conversation. The well-dressed man turned, and watched with keen eyes while someone he hadn't even seen enter the bar talked his way out of a sticky situation. Whether the elf was lying or not, he couldn't tell, but a moment later it approached them, offering the rest of the ale it had already paid for. "Thank you," he said, taking one of the flagons while his two new acquaintances refused the offer. The barmaid shrugged and set them down on a table, grabbing one for herself before walking off.
The two men he'd just met exchanged words, both with and about the elf while Ignazio stood awkwardly, wondering if he was about to get someone to take him up on his posting or not. His eyes flicked from the elf to Simeon and back, as it seemed if there were going to be a problem, they would be the source of the dispute.

Ganon chuckled to himself as the one who named himself Simeon spoke with such disdain towards him. He truly appeared to be a dick amongst men. A grin etched across the elves face as he responded. "You assume much and protest quite a bit without having all the facts... then again men such as yourself are a dime a dozen....at least in my experience." Ganon downed his drink before taking two flagons off the barmaids tray and downing them both before the trio. With a slight belch he placed the empty containers upon her tray and motioned for her to leave.
"More for me then, I don't much care for sharing drinks with those who try and prejudge a man before getting to know him"He looked at the warrior who was with the one name Steffon and nodded his head. "Again my good sir, being accused of thievery and actually being convicted are not the same, but I am always ready to accept honorable work so long as the pay is rewarding... but it would seem your pal has already judged me, so unless there is a contract for me to sign for work I'll be on my way."Bowing slightly towards the noble Ganon turned to leave, he would make for the bar and order another drink. He was already motioning toward the Tavern keep as he made his way back across the bar. That was the problem with men, they were so short sighted in their small and insignificant lives... how boring he thought. Rolls

Simeon’s eyes rose slowly to look at the thief who preached to them. For a few seconds he said nothing, and then he let out a bark of laughter. He raised a hand and waved it dismissively at the elf before turning back to the table. ”You really think we need a drunk thief, Dayne? If he does come, we’ll have to hide the wineskins before he embarasses himself even more than he currently is.”He took a long draught from his own flagon, letting the cool liquid pass his lips slowly. The ale in Neverwinter wasn’t considerably stronger than other regional variants, but it still packed a punch - he wanted to have a clear head for this negotiation, even if others didn’t deem it necessary. A second later he placed it carefully on the table, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. ”You were telling us about your job posting?” he said Ignazio, eyes locked on the man. ”No doubt your employer would not want you to keep us waiting too long.”[

Back and forth like children the two men spat words of venom from the bar. Dayne, drink in hand and heart filled with overwhelming join, removed himself from the situation for a moment. Almost is if his brain was some kind of arcane device, tampering with fate and time, he began to envision each of the outcomes from every possible action. A bad trait, one that had no real value for him since trapped in the lost city under Baldur's Gate. With a blinding flash caused by Simeon's voice Dayne was brought back into reality. He began to blink rapidly from the trace like state, and then gave a soft smile- similar to the one he had just displayed moments ago. " Come now friend, on my many years of absence I have come to meet a many men like him. Their skills are unrivaled, you can tell just by the look in his eye." Dayne lifted his left hand, his index finger extending out from the flagon that he held, pointing in the Elf's direction. " Old man, if there is a job to be had. He will unquestionably be of some kind of use." Simeon quickly spouted back in protest, but Dayne only pushed for his mentor to open his eyes a bit more. " If that is the case," he tapped his hand on the hilt of his scimitar. " It would be two against one, he doesn't strike me as the stand your ground type." Rolls Persuasion: 18

Ignazio stood quietly as the trio of men before him argued, though not too animatedly, about whether or not they could all three embark on his quest together. To himself, he wished they would, as they were the first adventurers to show any interest at all. He might not have gotten another three, he knew.
When he was again spoken to, the noble-dressed man with the farmer's tan nodded. His employer, the older-looking of the three men said. "Yes, of course not. Ever heard of Thundertree?" he began, but then simply continued. Most people in the Neverwinter area knew of Thundertree. Many had even seen the ruins of the old logging town. "There is a small village called Blithe, just a short way from there. Lately, we have had a few disappearances, and some people have seen things moving around the village at night."
Ignazio paused, eyeing the reactions of the men before him. Either the intrigue of the job would draw them quickly in, or else they'd be almost immediately turned off from it. "We are looking for some courageous adventurers that can help us. The town guard tried, but there are too few of us," he continued finally, letting the word 'us' slip before he could pull it back. He winced, hoping no one would take notice.
